Neewer Digital Slave Flash + Bracket Set for Digital SLR DSLR Cameras or any Digital Camara! "Fires Without Wires - No Camera Connection Required!" Automatically Synchronizes and Fires with Your Built-In Flash

Neewer Digital Slave Flash + Bracket Set for Digital SLR DSLR Cameras or any Digital Camara!

Q&A:
My digital camera has a built-in flash. Why do I need another? br>Built-in flashes are only effective to 8-10ft or less. This high power flash greatly extends the range!
The built in flash units of digital cameras are on average effective to only about 8-10 feet, and that's when your lens is at its widest-angle setting . When you want to zoom in on the action (towards the telephoto end of your zoom range) you'll find that your built in flash does exactly opposite of what you want, and its range is reduced! So, when you want to use your camera's telephoto capability that you paid for, but also require the built in flash, your pictures come out dark or, even worse!
The new advanced slave circuitry of the Pro Digital Auto Slave Flash with Bracket Set is not fooled by the "pre-flash" and eliminates the need for an electrical connection to your camera.
Can I use with a telephoto or wide-angle conversion lens? YES!
Unlike your camera's built in flash; the flash is mounted to the side where even the largest conversion lenses will not block it. You will enjoy more even illumination and at a much greater distance, which is especially needed when working with your telephoto lens.
Does it require special batteries? NO!
This flash uses standard AA size (alkaline or rechargeable NiMH) batteries to power the flash for hundreds of shots.
What cameras will it work with?
Virtually any camera, digital or film!
The Pro Digital Auto Slave Flash with Bracket Set is compatible with virtually any digital or film, point and shoot camera with a built-in flash including: Canon, Casio, Epson, Fuji, GE, HP, Kodak, Kyocera, Konica Minolta, Leica, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Polaroid, Ricoh, Samsung, Sony, Pro, Toshiba and Vivitar. can be used to improve the typically poor flash pictures taken by any Camcorder or Cell phone Camera that has a built-in electronic flash!

Focal lengths indicated on the lens do not give the same angle of view as for full-frame cameras. 30mm on the Pen is roughly equivalent to 45mm on a full-frame lens.
Launched in 1962, the Olympus Pen EES was the world's first camera with a programmable EE shutter. The shutter speed changed automatically according to light level, thus increasing the appropriate exposure range.
The original Pen was introduced in 1959. It was designed by Yoshihisa Maitani, and was the first half-frame camera produced in Japan. It was one of the smallest cameras to use 35mm film in regular 135 cassettes. It was thought to be as portable as a pen, thus the name. The idea was to be much copied by other Japanese makers.

Eye of the beholder.

Eye of the beholder.

I put together a make-shift macro ring-light today using a foil-bowl, tape, white mache' paper, my FL-36R flash, my E30 Olympus and the 12-60mm f/2.8-4 SWD & EX25 extension tubes. I set it all up on two tripods, the camera on one, and the flash next to it on another, so I didn't have to hold either one. I then used my remote control cable and just put the camera on macro mode, live view and turned the screen around so I could see it. Many tries later, this is what I came up with.

Cobra Macro Close-up Ring Light Flash + Batteries & Charger + 52mm Macro Photography Lens Filter Set for Canon, Nikon, Olympus & Pentax Digital SLR Cameras

Kit Includes:
¦ 1) Cobra Macro Ring Light Flash
¦ 2) 4-Piece +1 +2 +4 +10 Close-Up Macro Filter Set w/ Case (52mm)
¦ 3) Precision Design 4 NiMH Batteries with Rapid Charger
The Cobra Macroflash Automatic Ring Light is a convenient and creative lighting solution for medical, dental, flower, insect, jewelry, coin, and other small subject close-up photography where built-in and conventional flashes are impossible to use. The circular flash tube design encompasses your lens to provide shadow-free, even illumination on your subject. An added benefit of employing electronic flash technology rather than a continuous light source is that it will freeze action, so that a lively butterfly or flower waving in the breeze can be photographed as if they were posing for your camera. A PC cord and Hotshoe-to-PC adapter are supplied, enabling the Macroflash to be used with almost any Digital or 35mm Film SLR Camera with a hotshoe or standard PC socket.
This versatile Ring Light Flash can mount to almost any Digital or 35mm Film SLR lens using the supplied 52mm, 55mm, and 58mm adapter rings — or if necessary, with other optionally available adapter rings. Optimized to prevent vignetting with most lenses having a filter size of 58mm or smaller, these optional Series 7 adapter rings are available separately in sizes from 43mm through 77mm.
The 52mm Macro Filter Kit includes four close-up diopters at +1, +2, +4 and +10 magnification, and a durable carrying case. These filters simply screw onto the front of any 52mm lens, and will maintain resolution and picture clarity while magnifying image size.
Provide your camera with plenty of power with 4 ultra-high capacity 2900mAh Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries and a multi-voltage rapid charger.
